According to a report dated 13 October 2026, Revolut is positioning Revolut Pay as a payment layer through which AI agents can complete purchases on behalf of consumers, explicitly in the UK and EEA. The coverage mentions AP2 building blocks and a roadmap for account-to-account payments. Broad, fully autonomous support is not yet an established market standard, according to the report.

🇪🇺 EU · Adyen introduces «Adyen Agentic» for sales through AI platforms
On 15 October 2026, Adyen announced a modular API suite: Agentic Feed, Agentic Cart, and Agentic Payments. It is designed to enable merchants to sell through conversational AI platforms and accept agentic payments. The source does not say whether or when it will be available in Europe.

🌐 Global · Shopify opens its catalog to more AI agents and connects them to Shop Pay
According to reports from 13 and 14 October 2026, shoppers can connect more AI agents to the Shopify catalog. The agents search offers, apply shopping rules, and complete purchases through Shop Pay. According to a report dated 2 October 2026, Worldline, ING and Mastercard completed an end-to-end agentic payment in live production. Worldline ran a comparable live flow with Visa in Germany. - If you use Adyen, ask your contact in writing whether Adyen Agentic is available in your country and what product data the Agentic Feed requires.
